BANANAS OVER TENTS!

Savannah Bananas, Banana Ball World Tour

Background

When you’re working with the Savannah Bananas, “ordinary” isn’t on the menu. The Bananas, known for their electric game day atmosphere, over the top entertainment, and unforgettable experience. The Bananas don’t just play baseball, they put on a show. So, when we got the call to create promotional merchandise for them we knew it had to match their bold, irregular branding.

The request?

A lot of custom tents and frames. Enough to cover all four Banana ball teams; the Firefighters, the Tailgaters, the Party Animals, and of course the Savannah Bananas. These tents couldn’t just be designed for shade, but as an eye catching, functional hub for fans, players, and staff. These weren’t just tents, they were portable, branded stages for the Banana Ball experience. Built to travel with the team's high energy and creativity.

Challenge

The Savannah Bananas operate on a high energy and high visibility model. Everything from their uniforms to their fan interactions is intentional and memorable. A plain pop up tent wasn’t going to cut it. They need brand visibility, premium quality and consistency on colors and performance. The quantities requested every time they need an order is no small feat when considering the design, printing, and shipping timelines.

Our Approach

With so many projects, as soon as the requests come in Team BAP immediately begins to work closely with the Savannah Bananas marketing and operations team to understand exactly how and where the tents would be used. The tents would serve as a base of operations for merchandise sales and guest services in and around the stadiums. This gave us a base on what they needed to have done.

Conclusion

The final products were printed and delivered to Savanah or to wherever the team is playing. Now, more tents with back walls imaginable became the instant focal point at games and events. For a team that thrives on being unforgettable, these tents fit right in. In true Savannah Bananas fashion, they’re not just shade, they’re part of the show.
